1) My husband and I want to learn Nepali because we are doing some volunteer work with Nepali people. We are also planning on going to Nepal next year.
2) We are beginners, we have started learning some concepts from the 'Teach Yourself' language instruction book.
3)We don't know much, so probably grammar, pronunciation and conversation.
4) We have a busy schedule so an hour every second week.
5) A patient teacher who loves Nepali !!!

Namaste Mr.Rajbhandar i.I am very interested in using the distance learning course to learn Nepali.I am not an absolute beginner I can speak a little and I can read.However I need much practise in speaking,list ening and understanding .I have some friends who have just spent 10 months in Nepal and they will be returning again soon,this time on a student visa.Now I can understand much of their Nepali because of their english accents but really struggle to understand Nepali accent,hence the need for listening and speaking skills
You quote 500.00 U.S.D for complete Distance learning course,but how many weeks or how many hours duration is this.Also time stated is between 5pm and 11pm,is that Nepali time as i believe there is about 5 hours difference between Nepali and English time.

I would like to learn Nepali because I'm an American living with 5 Nepali roommates and I have many Nepali friends outside of my home as well.
I am a beginner and I only know a handful of words. I need help with all aspects of the language, especially understanding the sentence structure.
I need to dedicate as much time as possible.
