I am learning Russian as I am travelling to southern Ukraine (the Russian speaking region) for the second time since last year, and I correspond with people there who are native Russian speakers.
My level in Russian is beginner level, and until now I have been slowly learning the language informally on my own with self learning aids such a book / CD set, and Russian language websites. I have learned the Russian alphabet, can read the language somewhat well, can write a few words, and speak a few sentences.
I now wish to move on to formal learning with a personal tutor or classes. I wish to do this weekly, perhaps more often if possible.
I seek a suitable Russian language teacher who is preferably a native Russian speaker with experience in teaching those at beginner level, and is located in the Melbourne area (I am in the Eastern suburbs).

i am intreted in learning russian as im looking at going there for a hoilday. I have been studing atuo books and reapting to best i can manage. Where i can do better is expanding my knoagle of the russian laguge i can prob fit it 2 hours or so a day. Any one who teaches me need to be patient and make it interting and fun but at the same time be comprehensive
