I want to learn this foreign language to comunicate better with friends, for travel reasons and for possible future overseas study.
I am a beginner.
I would like to understand spoken and written language basics.
I would like to spend 8+ hours per week for approximately 4 weeks.

I want to learn Swiss-German. My mother is Swiss and can speak Swiss-German but is not in a position to be able to teach me. I would be able to ask her for advice from time to time for help but she is very busy with her business.
I want to learn Swiss-German to communicate with her and family members in Switzerland to be better connected to my family history and also i hope to travel to Switzerland in the future.
I will be starting as a beginner.
I want to dedicate as much time as required in order to learn the language cost effectively and in a reasonable time frame (which i would require some feedback on how long it can take to advance levels).
The qualities i am looking for in a teacher is someone of a kind demeanor. I am a quick learner and dedicated to study, so provided my coach is qualified in what they do, i see no reason why it would not work out.
