I am a beginner, and know nothing at all about the language. I live in an area that is populated with many Persians and I want to be able to speak with them in their language...al so there is this cute Persian woman I want to meet. I can take lessons on weekends only due to my work situation. I am not sure what qualities I am looking for in a teacher, I guess it is just a matter of matching the teacher to the student.

I'm a student, ESL instructor and journalist interested in developing my language skills for travel in the Middle East.
