I am looking to learn the language of Hindi because my fascination towards India is growing at a rapid rate and I would like to spend a chunk of my life living in India. I know Hindi and English are the native languages of India but I would like to show my dedication to the locals by learning the language and also show myself that I am capable of it.
I have started my studies with a few language books from the library but I feel it is necessary to hear the language to truly learn it. So my level of proficiency is definitely beginner.
My time available to learn this language is quite vast and I am willing to put in a lot of effort to become proficient in the language.
My lessons should be very interactive, fun and at an appropriate pace so I can absorb the information that I am being taught. I have not studied anything outside of high school so I may be a bit rusty but I do not lack motivation to learn Hindi.

I have been studying Hindi/Urdu on and off, using the Roman alphabet, for several years. I also spent a year in various Hindi speaking regions of India. I took classes in Rishikesh and Varanasi.
I consider myself an intermediate with a fair understanding of the grammar and some vocabulary. I can do basic question, answers in Hindi but I need a lot of practice conversing.
I would like to go to one class of ninety minutes every week and would like a teacher who will to talk to me 'dhire-dhire' in Hindi. They would have to put up with my bad pronunciation and my struggle with vocabulary. Ideally, they will encourage me to talk Hindi. Hopefully we would spend eighty-five minutes talking in Hindi.

I have no knowledge of Hindi.
I would like to learn for personal interest (I am thinking of visiting India in the future).
I could dedicate one or two session per week to learning Hindi, tentatively.
I would like to learn enough Hindi to be able to converse comfortably, if only at a basic level; thus, I would like lots of conversation and comprehension practice!
