Hi,
My name is Alexa and I would like to learn how to speak Tagalog.
I was born and raised in Montreal, Canada and my parents are both Filipino although, growing up, they have always spoken to me in English. Growing up in Montreal, I was able to go to French school from Elementary school all throughout High school. I am now a flight attendant and having the culture of knowing different languages is beneficial. Soon, my company will be flying out directly to Manila and I would like to learn Tagalog. I most often tell people that I speak broken Taglish. I would like to be able to solidify my Tagalog and be able to have full on conversations . I do understand Tagalog.

I want to learn how to speak Filipino (Tagalog) because I'm Filipino but i was born in Winnipeg, Manitoba,Cana da..But I speak English.I always wanted to learn how to speak Filipino Tagalog...but i understand little...i'm a beginner, but i learn how write ,speak, read Filipino (Tagalog).I'm a beginner i would like to improve on grammar, conversations . I would like to learn about 1 hour and half 2 or 3 times a week.For 3 or 4 months...and then improve and come back for more classes...so i can speak little Filipino(Taga log).
I looking for a teacher with a lot of patience, understanding , outgoing personality.
And the lessons for a Beginner.
I would also want my son to learn Filipino(Taga log)My son is 11...how much does it cost to tutor us...or individual. please let me know.

My girlfiend is filipino. All her family and friends speak taglog and I want to learn to converse with them.
I am a beginner.
I am going to IloIlo, trapaiche Oton Philippines from Aug 23-Sep 15 to meet her family and want to learn as much as possible as fast as possible.
I can reasonably set aside about 10 hours a week.
I am looking for someone who lives nearby and can work flexible hours.
Proba bly starting the 1st or 2nd week of May.
