I would love to become fluent in Italian for many reasons. Most importantly because I lived a winter semester in Florence, Italy, where I took culinary and arts classes. My time in Italy had such a profound impact on me that it is my hopes to live there one day. I am currently opening a clothing boutique in Sacramento and think knowing Italian would only be beneficial incase I choose to do business there or eventually move there. Aside from all of that, I have a passion for languages, culture and learning new things. I finally have some time to fully commit to learning this language not only for what I previously mentioned, but because I just genuinely want to learn it. I have no previous background in Italian language classes, however I have taken Spanish and French and find that I am confident in learning languages when I have time to dedicate to them. I hope to meet 1-2 times a week and am looking for a teacher who is as passionate about teaching the language, as I am to learn it.

To Whom It May Concern,
Good Afternoon on this beautiful Monday! My name is Anissa C. Jones Gambino. I am 41 years old and I am at turning point in my life. I am newly divorced and I have decided to make my own dreams come true. I am planning on beginning my certification , as a tour guide for Roma/Firenze/ Napoli in August(no later than October). I feel it is a must for me to have a better grasp of the grammar and conversationa l aspects of Italian before I enter the training program. Upon exiting the program successfully, there are job interviews with different tour groups and I want my Italian to be perfecto!
I know only enough Italian to get by on a 'Rome Holiday':movi e reference to Rock Hudson and Audrey Hepbern.(this is meant as a joke). I would call myself a beginner, even after going through the Rosetta Stone program that ensures successful skills.
I would like to spend 1 to 2 hours, two times a week(possibly 3). It all depends on the fee and how far we(the teacher and myself) may need to drive. I have no problem meeting the teacher in a mutually beneficial location that is conducive to me learning.
I would like a teacher that gets down to the business of my learning, immediately but not in a rude or condescending manner. I want someone to push me to learn by positive reinforcement . I want the best teacher you have on staff.
My dream once was to fly, so I became a flight attendant and was able to see and meet such wonderful people. My marriage took all that away, so now is my time to show others the wonder, beauty and secrets of the most fabulous 'boot', which is Italy!!
Pl ease help me, as soon as possible. If I can afford your fees I will be speaking fluent Italian by this fall.

Different languages have always fascinated me. Learning new languages also will benefit my career. My mother, brother and I will be traveling to Italy next year for the first time. We will be visiting Venice and the Tuscan region.
