Hello
My daughter, who is 17, and I would like to learn basic conversationa l Italian. We want to do this because we have Italian relatives (my wife's brother married an Italian woman and they have 2 daughters) coming to visit in July and we want to be able to speak with them in their native language.
We are definitely beginners and have no previous experience with Italian.
We would be willing to dedicate 1 1/2 hours per session twice a week. The days may vary based on my schedule. These lessons could take place in our home or in a location of the teachers choosing provided it is relatively close to us (eg preferably on the North Shore of Vancouver)
I would like a teacher whose first language is Italian. He/She would have a positive encouraging approach but still be honest with feedback and suggestions. I would hope there are materials provided that would allow us to practice at home between sessions as we only have approximately 4 months to get to an appropriate level.

Hi,
I am looking to learn the Italian and French language, I am wanting to be taught in my home. I am fluent in English. I understand some of the Italian language threw my mother but I need to the the proper Italian not slang. I am also interested in learning French, as I will one day need a second language and French like Italian is such a beautiful language.
