I have just begun to learn the Spanish language recently. I have a very close friend from Spain that I spent the past month with this summer. I am interested in learning Spanish because I am a teacher myself and have many ESL students that are Spanish in my school. I would like to incorporate both languages within the classroom. I also am looking in to moving to Spain in one years time. I would like to teach English over there if possible, but feel I better speak and write in Spainsh quite well before I am able to do this. I am looking to dedicate a few hours a week to learning the Spanish language. I am looking for a teacher that is orgainzed and teaches with a variety of methods (i.e. audio, visual, written) I would prefer the teacher to speak as much Spanish as possible during the lesson as well.

My profession requires me to travel 4 days/week aroudn the world - however, I understand the imperative to learn quickly and am willing to give significant chunks of time to working with an instructor Fri, Sat, and Sun. Weekend availability is a must and I would appreciate the opportunity to meet in my home (I am willing to pay a 10-20% hourly premium for this service. I have taken off work through the first of the year and am looking for intensive instruction between now and Jan 1, 2008.

I'd like to start my learning of Spanish in a Beginner stage. I'm learning because of my employment future as well as the passion to learn such a inspiring language. The area of learning choice is for conversation and if any others would be good. I'm currently a student at NAIT and would like to learn on a timed scheduling, preferably in the evenings.
