I consider myself a beginner and although I seem to have an ear for the language, I need to improve my conversation/ pronunciation s skills. I travel regularly to Central America for recreational and business purposes.
I'm prepared to commit 4 to 6 hours per week for the next 5-6 weeks and 2 to 3 hours per week thereafter.
I'm looking for an instructor whose native language is preferably Spanish and whose schedule is flexible enough to accomodate daytime and some evening classes (no Weekends).

I want to travel to Spanish-speak ing countries, possibly also work in a Spanish-speak ing country.
F or these reasons, I am leaning more toward the rules of Spanish used in Spain as opposed to those rules used in Latin America. The US is probably closer to the Latin American usage, so I do have some flexibility here. I am planning a trip to Spain for summer 2008.
