Hello
I am a complete beginner, but I am very keen to learn Urdu. I am interested in learning this language as I am doing my university degree in Sociology with South Asian studies and I feel that gaining some sort of proficiency in a South Asian language would help me to develop a deeper knowledge of the culture. Urdu in particular interests me due to its connections with both Persian and Arabic which I consider beautiful languages.
I would be able to meet at least twice weekly with anyone willing to teach me.
I am looking for a teacher who is enthusiastic about Urdu and who can make lessons as simple and clear as possible for me. I will work hard in exchange to take full advantage of the knowledge I am offered.
