I was born in Canada and was first introduced to German at University (1990-1995). I also spent 1 year in Germany 1993-94 during which time I took evening classes and enrolled in a 3 month language course. I was completely immersed in the culture during that year. I even attended a University level History course.
In 1995 my German language skills were very strong, both in grammar and vocabulary. Since 1995 I have visited Germany several times but my language abilities have greatly declined through disuse. I plan eventually to move back to Germany, and need to improve my language skills in preparation for that.
I would prefer to be part of a small course (2-3 people), taught by a native speaker.

I'm looking for a tutor or school for my 16-year old daughter. We have just moved to Calgary and in a year or two she will need to take a German test to be accepted to a University in Germany. A year ago she started taking German and I recon her level is still 'a Begginer', could be 'Intermediate '.
I'm thinking about her taking German 2-3 times a week and looking for a person with a very strong personality with focus on a definite resut.

My husband and I know a little of German. Our children do not know any German but would also like to learn. We are hoping to find someone that will come the our house once or twice a week and teach a group lesson.
We have German relatives and would all like to become proficient enough to communicate with them in German.
