I am a beginner and would like to become fluent in this language. I have learnt a few other languages and would like to learn this language as well. I have quite a few friends who are Punjabi and since some of them have very limited English, I would like to be able top communicate with them better in their language.
As with the other languages that I have learnt, I would like to learn to read as well as to write this language.
My schedule is flexible right now, so I can work with whatever schedule is available.

Dear Sir/Madam, I'm looking for a punjabi tutor to teach my children the spoken and written punjabi language. Although our native language is punjabi,the children do not have much contact with other native speaking people. They would benefit from concentrated spoken and written lessons. The ages of my children are 16yrs, 15yrs,7yrs and 6yrs old.
I am looking for someone to teach them at my house if possible.

Hello, my name is Maya and I would like to learn Punjabi. I know no Punjabi at all so I will be starting from scratch. I would like to learn Punjabi beacuse I am thinking of converting to Sikhism, and most Sikhs speak Punjabi, to ceramonies are run in Punjabi, and the holy text is written in Punjabi. I am willing to spend at least two days a week with a tutor. I would like to be able to meet with a tutor in person, rather than over the internet.

I am a beginner in Punjabi but am fluent in the names of curry dishes! I would like to learn this language as I am married to a Punjabi person. I would like to learn conversationa l Punjabi so that I can converse with my wife's family. I would prefer to learn Punjabi by a teacher in person either privately or in a class room environment. I work full time and have 2 small children so I can study for a couple of hours a couple of nights a week (or weekend). I would like my teacher to be fluent in both languages (English and Punjabi) and have a lot of patience. Hopefully there is someone in the Calgary area that is teaching Punjabi that I can learn from.
