I started taking French lessons half way through last year at Alliance Française, I feel I learned a great deal and had loads of fun but I feel I need a more one on one approach to practice my conversation as well as learning the grammar to gain a bit more confidence.
My short term goal is to be able to generally communicate with locals when I visit France in September/Oct ober 2010 but would ideally like to continue my studies and improve my skills upon my return.
I am very serious about learning, but I believe it should be enjoyable. I liked the relaxed attitude of the tutors I had at Alliance. The lessons were fun and interesting so I guess that is the approach I am looking for. I like homework and any tips for everyday practice will be adhered to.
