I am a beginner, never spoken a word of French before. The reason i want to learn french is because i want to join the French Foreign Legion and one of the requirements is the ability to speak french fluently. I work during the day so i can only attend lessons from 5pm or later.

I have a basic knowledge of French. I spent a summer in Quebec City as a teenager on a French immersion program and I lived in the French part of Switzerland for a month last summer, staying with my friend and her family (who did not speak any English).
I am a lawyer in Calgary and have aspirations to practice international law. Being able to communicate in French is an asset for my career goals.
I would like to spend 2 hours per week on French lessons. Small group or invidual lessons are fine.
