Hello. I'm looking for someone to tutor me in French over the summer of 2005. I have two semesters of college French and I'm looking to advance myself over the summer to 1)Test out of 4th semester French 2)improve fluency in the language for work and travel. I have two semesters or college Swahili as well and will be devoting more time to that during the fall. This is why I would really like to work on French over the summer. Thanks!

The purpose for me to learn French is both my interest and career growth. I am a beginner with a brief knowledge in French through some audio lessons. I would like to understand conversations in French and also talk in French. I think I could devote approx. 5 hours a week to learn French. I would prefer weekends but I could also try for late evening during weekdays. I would prefer a teacher who is patient and polite, and would teach in an effective way by which I could pick up French quickly. There is one more person looking to learn French along with me.

I have taken French courses in high school which have given me the basics. I'm looking to learn more grammar for spoken French, I know words, but can't put them together properly to form a sentence.
My boyfriend is from Quebec and his family speaks minimal to no English, so I would like to be able to communicate more with them as well as him, so I can practice more. I have been to Quebec once and found if very difficult, I thought knowing words would be okay but it was much more difficult than I thought.
I would like weekly sessions of 2 hours, I'm not sure how many weeks, I believe that's where I would look for some feedback from the instructor.
