Living in Ottawa, bilingualism in French and English is required for most government and public service careers, and it is very useful for many jobs in the private sector as well. I know very little French, written or oral, but I'm interested in being able to communicate, roughly at least, in French and be able to write well enough so that I can pass a bilingualism test (if need be). I am flexible on hours and days. I only request that the teacher be friendly and patient, as I am myself a friendly and patient person.

Morning my name Tabitha. I have been attempting to find someone to help me become proficient in speaking French. My ultimate goal is to speak French on a regular basis. The attorney I work for and his wife both speak fluent French. I have been with him for over twelve (12) years now and we have become like family and it would be wonderful to converse with him in French. Additionally, my friend Jesse is also wanting to learn French so it would be both of us simultaneousl y learning French. We believe that working together will strengthen our learning ability.
At the moment we are working with a tutor that is having difficulties meeting in a neutral location and is somewhat disorganized with his lessons. We are meeting once a week which seems to be working out well up until recently. Could you please let me know if you do lessons on the weekends and your rates. Tabitha
