I will have term off holiday during end of July to middle of August, so I want to spend time to learn other language in Nairobi. Specially, I am interested in French, but my level is very beginner. If it is possible to take private lesson, I would like to learn from the first. I would like to take it about 2 or 3hour per week. I' d like to prefer teacher who can speak both English and French.

I am learning French for career advancement and because I will be moving to Quebec soon.
My proficiency level is somewhere above beginner but below intermediate.
I need improvement most in conversation, and to a lesser degree in grammar.
R ight now, I am able to dedicate a couple of hours a week to lessons, but the amount of available time may increase soon.
A teacher with patience and a sense of humour would be great.

I work with a charity that has links with projects in East Africa - esp Tanzania and Rwanda and would really like to get at least a basic level of Swahili.
I have tried learning before with the disks but think i learn much better with a person who I can ask question and discuss things with.
I am a beginner and will only really be able to study after work or on the weekend. The amount of time will depend upon the cost.
