Sir,
I know Marathi(Mothe r Tongue),Hindi ,English languages quite well. I like Poetry in all the languages. Especially poetry in Indian sub continent is appealling to my heart.May be obviously because I know the nature and the culture here.
Withou t learning Urdu language and poetry, I think I am missing a major link of the poetical talent in the sub continent. I am absolute biginner in Urdu learning.
I can give three hours per week for urdu learning.
I am looking forward to a teacher with an earnest zeal for teaching and love for the literature. I believe Teacher ('Guru' in my mother tongue)is next to god. Hence I expect my teacher should have comparable values and ethics.
