Began in 7th grade in my junior high. Enjoyed the language, but still a beginner
I was learning German for the simple fact that I could, that unlike in college I didn't have to pay for the same class.
I'm willing to give up about 2 hours a week to a class. I don't have much money, but I will be able to pay.
Japan ese:
I haven't learned much Japanese, but I would love to learn, I enjoy listening to people speakanother language and trying to figure out what they are saying.
I just want to learn Japanese, no real reasoning behind it, aside from thinking that it is a beautiful language.
About 2 hours a week would be sufficient, possibly 1 hour

Hello, my name is Karla Schatzmann. I am intermidiate in German. I learned German in school so I know the basics, but I have no practice therefor it seems I am starting to forget a lot. I need to keep learning German because I am moving to Switzerland in Summer 2005 to start my University studies and I do not want to be unprepared. I need a lot of improvement in grammar and conversation skills. I would like about 4 hours a week of german practice. Qualities I am searching for in my lessons and teacher are a lot of conversing and grammar practice. Not just textbooks, I need practice speaking and want someone outgoing and sociable willing to talk about different topics, and correct me while this is happening as well as leave me homework.

I plan on majoring in Linguistics. Currently I am Taking a begginners course in german, and through my martial arts instructor I am learning a bit of cantonese. Next year I plan to China, and in the future I plan on visiting many other counrties. I mainly would like to learn arabic for my own personel reasons (if your thinking terrorism you are absolutly wrong). If there are any teachers out there willing to help I will greatly appreciate it.
