I am in an intermediate german class at Ithaca College. I lived in Germany for six weeks last summer and have a chance to go back after i graduate. I would like to improve on my grammar and conversation in order to get ready for the advanced german class i will be taking next semester. I am a biginner in German. I love study of language, any language, and look to study foreign language in the future, and perhaps major in something relating to the field. Since I am a beginner, I would need grammar, conversation, etc, improvement. Though I think I would like to focus more on conversation. During the academic year, I am willing to dedicate 2 hrs a day on the weekdays, and have no preference for the weekend time. I would like a teacher who is very fluent in the language, and that is an easy talker and listener, and has patience.

I am searching for a native German speaking teacher. You should be patient and teach me to understand the grammar and then I feel that I can master the language. I have lived in Frankfurt, Germany for 4 years, and just recently returned to NYC. The reason I am learning German is because I intend to return sometime in the future and live and work there on a permanent basis. In order to that, I must be able to have full command of German. My goal is to learn German fluently - grammar, conversation, reading and writing. I plan to devote a few hrs a week to attain my goal.
