I have been looking for someone that teaches Croatian for me and my husband. My husband's father is from Croatia and he knows the language somewhat. I would consider myself a beginner and my husband knows conversationa l basics. It would be ideal to be speaking the language by our next trip to CRoatia to visit his family, sometime next summer. My ten year old daughter and I have taken about one year of Mandarin Chinese. We would like to continue studying for our own pleasure. We are beginners who are a bit rusty, since it's been two years since our last lesson. We would like to have a tutor for the two of us, preferably one who could meet us at our apartment clubhouse. We would also consider taking small group lessons with others if the meetings were close to home. We have studied oral and written Mandarin.

I want to learn to speak and understand Mandarin in preparation for a 2-month trip next summer to China. I do not speak any at this time. I would like enough language to be polite, navigate independently , get myself found once I am lost, get something not-too-inter esting to eat. I would like one lesson per week throughout the fall, winter, spring. I hope for a teacher that is familiar with current trends.
