Proficiency level- I would say intermediate. I have done a beginner course with the Goethe Society
I want to learn to speak proficiently as I have relatives who only speak German
I need improvement in conversation and grammar
I imagine 2 hours per week in terms of lessons but I would like to work on my own in between on grammar
Qual ities I am looking for are a good mix between conversation and grammar, convenience in terms of distance and time and a reasonable price. Also, I am happy to fit in with a mix of either private of group classes

I am a beginner wishing to learn German. My partner is fluent and his parents are German and I wish to be able to converse with them, and also to become culturally more involved. I have slight proficiency, two years' university study. My native tongue is English, however first learned foreign language was Italian - so I have trouble thinking in German (rather automatically translate to Italian, then to German - which doesn't work!) My grasp of grammar is ok - most trouble with vocab. Looking for a 60m-90m lesson per week.
