I've studied Basque (batua) by myself a little with the following books: Bakarka (v. 1), Routledge Colloquial Basque, and King's The Basque Language. I've traveled to Euskadi where I tried out a few phrases. I speak and regularly use other Iberian languages and would like to progress with Basque, although I have limited time.
I think in order to progress beyond the first few chapters of any book it would help to be in contact with a native speaker with experience teaching the language. I'm intrigued at the prospect of being tutored over a computer but not sure how well it would work.
It would be nice if the tutor had access to one of the books I mentioned above, so that we could work through one of them together, but I'm open to other methods also.

Me and my wife recently adopted a baby boy from Ethiopia and want to ensure that he grows up knowing where he came from (culture/lang uage). Not only that but I would like to learn the language as well so that we can learn together.
