I can speak, read and write a fair amount of Russian but I am very much at the novice level. I am not around Russian people that much so I've never developed fluency. I want to improve my Russian to travel to Russian (not as a tourist). I need to learn grammar, inflection rules and conversation. Did 4 week intensive course in St. Petersburg in fall 2006. Started as beginner but got all the way to the verbs of motion with prefixes (and their conjugations) - would need some refreshment for sure.

I am a beginner, but know few words in Amharic. I know the fidel (alphabet) and can read them also. My only problem is speaking. I really want to learn Amharic because I go to the Ethiopian Orthodox Church and there are many Ethiopians here that I don't understand so much. I am a 16 year old student who has no previous background in Mandarin Chinese.
