I am half Japanese and have learned some words growing up, also took Japanese in college so I could speak to my family in Japan. But over the years you don't use it you definitely lose it...
So I'm definitely a beginner and would love to learn how to speak, as well as read it and write it, but more importantly to be able to speak to my grandmother before she gets any older. I would like to do a lesson once a week or more if necessarily (whatever is recommended). Also possibly thinking of having my boyfriend join with the lessons because he wants to learn (but I'm not sure how much he'll be dedicated towards his lessons).

I am a beginner-leve l student looking to study Bosnian-Croat ian-Serbian this summer in Seattle. I've studied several langauges and I'm interested in language acquisition generally, but my primary reason for choosing this particular course of study is that I am engaged to a Bosnian. I will be working, so my schedule will be determined by my employment to some degree, but I hope to fit in 4 lessons a week.

Hi, I am a Member of an organization which helps post war victims. I had a Bosnian 'sister' for 1 year and we had a translater for our letters. My 'sister' is no longer in the program but still, as she states, Needs my Support. She wants to continue to write me. I wondered if you knew someone to translate my letters to her or hers to me. They would be short letters and probably only 2 or so per year. I could pay for this. I just feel like I would like to still support her. Any help would be appreciated!! Thanks
