I haven't taken my first class in Mandarin Chinese yet. However, I would like to have myself and my daughter take the class. As the world is becoming flat, I am interested in making sure that my daughter and I have the skills necessary to interact with a diverse population.

Hello -
My husband and I are in the process of adopting a child from Ethiopia. We hope to find an instructor for some beginning Amharic lessons. Our main goal is to be able to communicate at least rudimentarily with our child and her caregivers when we visit Ethiopia sometime next year.
We are looking for a patient instructor who is fluent in Amharic to tutor us 1-3 hours per week.

I am currently a beginner in the language, though I do know like three or four solid words.
I am wanting to learn japanese for my own personal use, career advancement and it will be helpful when I plan to go to Japan in the near future.
I need improvement in all areas.
Since I work about 4-5 days a week right now, I'll dedicate about 10+ hrs to learning each week.
I am looking for a teacher who can speaks both English and Japanese and can teach me the language in a fun way. I know I've been in language classes where I don't learn a thing because the teacher was boring, so I do not want that.

I am 14 years old and I have learned some of the Japanese language on my own. I have many friends who are Japanese and I speak to them in Japanese sometimes, but I would like to have a better command of the language.
