I lived in Brasil for 5 months after visiting several other times. I am planning to return there in the Fall to live semi-permanen tly. I can understand and speak, but poorly because I taught myself. I have material such as books, magazines, websites, etc. but I really need someone to correct me as I speak and help me with pronunciation and grammer. I would like to do a little independent work 5 days a week, possibly online, but only want face-to-face meetings once or twice a week. I am looking for a teacher who understands grammer but who also understands colloquialism because there is a difference between knowing a language from a book and speaking it with people on the street.
