I am currently taking farsi online with the Rosetta Stone program. I started a few months ago so I am still a beginner. I am learning this language for two reasons: I want to be in the FBI and they have a whole program for people fluent in farsi, and because someday I want to go to Afghanistan and start a chain of womens shelters. I am willing to dedicate all my free time to learn this language. I am looking for a teacher who is very proficient in farsi, that even knows the slang. I don't mind being in a class with up to five people but no more then that because I will need a lot of one-on-one time.
