Beginner, I have the Pimsleur level one program but i am only on lesson 12 of 30 lessons.
I am just learning for the sake of learning. I don't even know why I chose the Russian language. It was just on a whim.
I would like help in learning basic conversationa l Russian. I have already spent some time learning phrases, a few numbers, and a little of the Cyrillic Alphabet.
I would like to spend a few hours a week on learning.
qu alities I am looking for in an instructor are proficiency in both English and Russian. And someone who is good at conveying information and explaining the finer points of the learning process. This person should also have at least some patience.

I am a beginner, although I do know some basic words.
I am wishing to learning Mandarin, because my girlfriend is from Tiawan. I just spent 2 weeks there to meet her parents. Next year when I go back I want to converse with them more without interpretatio n.
I would like to spend 6 to 8 hours a week with my lessons or more.
I really need someone that is patient, because I am a visual learner and I need to associate words with objects to help me remember.
