I am a beginner and I need to learn Thai because I want to live in Thailand for at least one year beginning next year and because I am a graduate student trying to read books in Thai that I need for research on Thai art. I would like to meet twice a week so that I learn fast. Because I am a full-time student, I am looking for someone who can teach me to speak and to read the books that interest me. However, if there is someone willing to teach me how to speak and understand spoken Thai, that would be great too. I am looking for a happy teacher who can seriously help me in a short period of time. We could start with four hours a week (2 hours on 2 days)dependin g on availabilty because my class schedule leaves open time periods during the week and weekend.

I am a student who is interested in studying abroad in Japan. I have been wanting to go for a few years now, but must learn the language first. I am looking for teachers who wish to teach via e-mail and/or telephone or IM. I am willing to dedicate at least 4-5 hours a week on my lessons in order to learn fast and efficently.
