I lived in the Republic of Georgia for 2 years as a Peace Corps volunteer. My Georgian is fairly good, but my Russian in minimal. I have a general interest in learning and in languages. I also wantto work in energy and think it would be a great advantage. I would prefer to have one or two lessons a week. I understand systems, verb conjugation etc, very well. Remembering nouns and verbs are the most difficult for me. I would like to focus on conversationa l Russian. A combination of grammar drills and speaking activities would be prefferable.

Hello,
I'm 21 years old and have visited Brazil twice now. I only know a few phrases in Portuguese and would like to be able to speak it fluently. I plan on going to Brazil again around July of 2009 so if I could learn a lot of the language between now and then that would be best. I am set on learning it because it gets frusterating to always have to call on a translater to have a conversation. I learned some french in High School so I kind of have a grasp on how Portuguese is conjegated eventhough I've forgotten pretty much the entire language through lack of practice.
