I am a beginner, though I have been involved with Korean people for nearly 3 years because many have come to my school in Texas & I have volunteered to help them in various activities, such as shopping, eating, going to the bank, going to church, etc. I can read & write Korean by seeing & by hearing.
I want to learn Korean because I plan on being here at least 3 years to teach English!
I need improvement in speaking. My listening is pretty good, but I want to be able to pick out certain words when people speak to me. I also need to improve my vocabulary.
I want to dedicate one hour a day all week long to studying Korean, if possible.
I am looking for a teacher who can teach me in many different ways - speaking, writing, listening, activities outside the classroom, etc.

I am a beginner in learning Japanese. The basics I know are simple romaji...like hi, bye, goodmorning. I seek to learn japanese because I'm going to move to japan in about two yrs to work. I would like to dedicate at least 2-3 hrs a day in learning, but of course its up to my teacher. I would like to learn how to speak japanese fully and how to write and understand kanji, katakana, and hiragana.
