Hi, I attend hunter college, and one of the hunter college requirements, is to take four levels of a foreign language. Last semester I was in level 2 of Italian, and my professor was not that great. I managed to pass the class, however I didn't get anything out of it. Now I moved on to level 3. I went to my first class last week; and to be quiet honest, I didn't understand much of what the professor was saying (considering the fact that the entire class was in Italian).It was so overwhelming. I dropped the class. Therefore, I'm looking to get tutored twice a week, for about an hour or an hour and a half; until the end of January. Possibly, after that, if needed. I would like to improve my grammar, reading, speaking, and understanding the Italian language. I work better one-on-one. And I don't want to lose what I already know. I would consider myself as a beginner. Basically, I need someone that can push me, someone to answer all the stupid questions I might have, someone to help me enjoy learning Italian. At this point, I was dreading to go to class. With a tutor, I feel I could get so much out of it. And I'm hoping that next semester, I can go to 'Hunters' level 3 Italian class, knowing the language better.
