Hi! I have been trying to learn arabic from books and tapes for a few months and I am interested in a few private lesson to help me to learn more quickly. I am a mature woman (38) and I am a university professor (in philosophy). I would like a teacher from Egypt as I would like to learn the Egyptian dialect. I am basically a beginner still but I have learned the Arabic alphabet and some vocabulary from cassette tapes and books. The reason I am interested in learning Arabic is that my fiance is from Egypt. I also think it is a beautiful language. I am staying in central Philadelphia (near Rittenhouse square) for the next few months with my brother, but I normally live in New Zealand.

I am a beginner. My husband is Bosnian and I would like to learn the language in order to communicate with his family. I would probably like to spend 1-2 hours a week working with an instructor and could do homework/stud y on my own throughout the week. I would like a knowledgeable instructor who can teach me how to speak the language as well as teach me the grammer rules. A patient person is preferable.
