My name is Amanda and I would like to learn spanish. I have always loved the lanuage and feel that it would help my career as well. I have a 14 month old son-Aiden, I would like him to learn as well. I am looking for tutoring for both him and I. Do you have experience with children his age? I would say that my proficiency level would be at beginner. I know some small phrases and single object words, but that is about it. The time I would be willing to dedicate would depend on your diagnosis of how much my son and I would actually need. The qualities I am looking for in a teacher would be what every teacher should be able to provide-knowl edge. Must be good with children and have a sense of humor. I do hope that teaching Aiden at such a young age is a possibility. If you do not offer this service would there be a direction that you could point me in.

I am at beginner level concerning portuguese. I am learning this language because I will be visiting Brazil multiple times this year in order to visit my boyfriend. I met him here in America, we have been together almost two years, and he will be returning to Brazil this month. I have plans to actually live there in about a year, and I think starting classes would aid me in this process. I need improvement in all areas; I only know a few words and phrases. I would like to dedicate as much time as possible to my lessons. I would like my teacher to be fluent, patient, challenging, and clever.

My wife and I have adopted an 11 year old child from Thailand. She is concerned that she is losing her ability to speak Thai after 7 months in the US. She is doing very well in public school in Ohio and I expect that her English skills will improve dramatically. But her ability to speak and read Thai is frozen at the 4th grade level.
We would like to provide our daughter the opportunity to advance her Thai language skills.
