i have had one year of farsi classes that was not accredited and have been speaking farsi for years at home.i am interested in taking the equivalent of 2-4 years of accredited farsi for college requirements in the next year or two. i am able to dedicate only Saturdays from October to June and all days from the beginning of July to August, however my times are flexible. the teacher must be accredited and living close to the los angeles area.

Hi. My name is Dolores, and my son attends a cyber school using virtual classes. I am looking for a sign language course for him since the school doesn't have one available. The school is willing to work with anyone qualified so that he would get credit for it. The reason sign language was chosen for his foreign language is because he is in the Autistic spectrum. He is very high functioning, but learning a foreign language would be difficult. I would probably have to seen what I would have to do to be excused from it. I didn't want to cause major distress for a language he may never use, but sign language is used all the time. All of us in our family have some knowledge of sign language. My husband more than the rest. A couple years ago we talked about it, and his occupational therapist said that it would be great OT for him. His speech therapist also agreed that it would be good for him. I just seem to have a problem with finding someone to teach him. Can you help?

I am a beginner trying to learn Russian. I am looking for a native speaker to meet once a week individually or in a class setting. My boyfriend is from Ukraine and his whole family speaks Russian. His grandparents speak almost no English. I have been using some CDs and practicing, but I know VERY little. I really want to be able to communicate with his family. I speak Spanish and English. I would like to learn the Polish language, as my husband is Polish. I am a beginner, I do know several words. I need improvement in everything.
