I have been practicing yoga for about 5 years and have come to Sanskrit via the asanas. I find that my studies seem very surface to me without the benefit of Sanskrit. I am interested in learning the language to support the spiritual aspect of my yoga practice and teaching. I am currently in Scottsdale AZ but will be moving to San Diego in a few months. I am continuing to learn Russian after living in Kazakhstan for a year. I am mostly interested in improving my conversationa l skills due to my interest in the language. I am an intermediate, conversationa l speaker but need a lot of help with grammar because I have only learned by listening and speaking with native speakers. I would like to dedicate 2-3 hrs. of tutoring per week. I am looking for a kind, patient teacher who can help me develop my conversationa l skills.

I wish to learn Telegu because I will be spending a lot of time in Andrah Pradesh during the next year. I am having a very difficult time finding good study materials. I need help with pronunciation and grammar. I will spend enough time as necessary to learn the grammar. I can implement what I have learned once I am in India. I want a teacher who can explain Telegu grammar to me in English. She must also know where the best grammar books are.
