I just returned from Turkmenistan where I was taking private lessons and want to continue building upon what I learned.
I am a beginner. I have had an intro to most grammar, but I need the most work with vocabulary and pronunciation .

I am a Foreign Service Officer with the Department of State and would like to learn some general Arabic to use overseas.
I have never taken Arabic before (complete beginnner).
I would like to study 'full-time', which is approximately 4-6 hours a day. I would like to do this for approximately 1 year (Summer 2010 - Summer 2011, flexible dates). However, I am sure that the DoS would not pay for individual lessons, so I would like to join another group.

I am interested in learning Russian and eventually being able to speak and read Russian fluently. I am a beginner and only have a very limited knowledge of conversationa l Russian. I have visited Russia, Ukraine and other countries of the former Soviet Union. I am willing to devote the time necessary to reach my goals. I am attempting to learn Swahili because it is a language Ive been wanting to learn for a while now. I am still in my undergraduate years but in my prospective masters program I will need to show proficiency in an African Language. So I chose to learn Swahili first. I am a beginner, very much in the beginning. I am willing to dedicate as much time to my lessons that my teacher will allow and that I can afford as a college student.

i am canadian/amer ican citizen, recently i have moved my young family from krasnodar russia to the usa, my children are involved in kindergartens and so on learning the english language and doing suppppeer!
only my wife wants them to learn the russian language as well, wich i agree,, but it would be easier for me living in seattle or some where in the states where they would learn russian as well, or we move back to russia.
