I have studied Hindi on my own and attended a class at Stanford. I am still a beginner.
I want to learn Hindi because I travel every year to HP and am working with a small group of Indian women who are Buddhist nuns and trying to learn English. I like to be able to speak enough survival Hindi to get around.
I' d like to spend most of my time in conversation.
I need to be able to practice on my own so I need some multimedia training. I am over 50 and learning a new language is very difficult. I can read Hindi but handwritten Hindi is very hard to read.

My proficiency level is beginner. I can read the Cyrillic letters and can read words very slowly. I know a few words. Started reading books on Russian grammer to improve readability and conversation.
I would like to learn more foreign languages, Russian and German, to a fluency level to cross-train into another field. I am presently an engineer and may consider moving into a business field requiring foreign language proficiency. Also, I am planning a trip to Ukraine in 4 months for tourism and would like some basic reading and conversation ability.
I am willing to devote a few hours each day on my own and would like to have one-on-one lessons may be three times a week for 1 to 2 hours.
I would like a teacher that has fluency in the Russian language and has a great deal of patience for someone new to the language.

I'm a beginner in Korean
I'm learning the language so one day I can be a Teacher either teaching English or teaching Korean. Understanding my favorite music and movies is a plus.
The areas I need help with are probably..the Sentence structure pronunciation s, making sentences...j ust..everythin g.
I'd like to dedicate as much time possible into my Languages Lessons.
It doesn't matter what kind of teacher I have as long as they teach me right and are nice. I'm not a very fast learner so I would hope to have a very understanding Teacher who won't get aggravated if I don't get something right the first time and maybe even the second time.
