I am a beginner learner in Ukrainian.
I spoke the language when I was young, but have forgotten it for my peers only spoke English.
I wish someone will help me master it again so I can speak to my mother using the language she prefers.
I do not mind lessons being 3-5 hours a week.
Most preferably during my nighttime, for my last year of school will be starting soon.
I would also enjoy a teacher who is willing to use video conferencing and possibly e-mail.

Absolute beginner.
I'm part Irish (my grandmother's family was from Donegal, Co. Donegal via Canada). Among other things, I'm a fiddle player playing Celtic pieces.
I' m mostly interested in learning enough Irish to be able to pronounce, read and understand music titles and see where that goes.
I work at home and have odd hours so Skype would be a good way for me to learn online.

I am currently enrolled in a beginner's Hindi course. It is possible that I may work in India in the future.
My grandparents spoke a Hindi dialect, however the younger generation of my family were discouraged from learning Hindi because of negative associations. That concept has now changed.
I can dedicate 7-10 hours a week on Hindi homework preparation in addition to 1-2 hours of teacher-stude nt discourse.
As a beginner, I am as a young child learning to speak and learn the alphabet. I'd like to find a teacher who is patient, observes mutual respect and can create an individualize d learning plan. My goal is to be fluent in speaking, writing and reading Hindi by 2011-2012.
