I am a beginner, I have no knowledge of the Czech language. I plan to move to Prague, if not permanently. I am willing to give at least 2-3, few hour days a week in the evenings, and possibly some hours in the afternoon on my days off work. I am looking for a good teacher with a sufficient knowledge of the Czech language. Someone with patients, and a one on one hands on mentality to help me understand the basics and more. I am willing to travel to Victoria or Nanaimo for lessons.

I am an absolute beginner seeking to learn the basics of the Czech language. Conversationa l Czech is my priority, but I don't want to totally neglect the written language. Ideally I would like to have one or two lessons per week (with additional time put towards independent study) and would prefer meeting in the daytime. Just beginning to learn Czech, because I am going to visit friends and family in the Czech Republic this summer. Conversation and grammar is what I'd like to excel in, so I can talk with the people there. I am willing to spend as much time as I can on learning Czech, as it might help me in my future career as I study foreign affairs.
