Hello, I'm a beginner looking into finding a private tutor. I'm interested in learning because I've always found the language fascinating and have been around it for a while now. I'm second generation Japanese, so considering that I have a multiple-cult ural background will help in understanding and appreciating learning the language as well. My boyfriend is Bosnian and I would like to be able to communicate with his family. He's nice enough to teach me words here and there and help me, but he's not much of a tutor =p I'm looking for someone who can work with me once a week for about an hour, who can help me out. I've tried learning on my own, but I've realized that I really need someone to work with me - I'm more of an interactive person. Though being around my bosnian friends helps some, I'd like someone who's willing to sit with me that has lessons planned out. I'm a piano teacher, so I do know how important it is to do the homework and dedicating time to doing work as well as knowing what it is like for the teacher to be taking out time and energy to teach as well.

As per proficiency, I know some words and sentences. I would certainly love to speak it fluently. My husband is from kosovo and we are planning on moving back to europe for business. Im at a beginners level. I need to learn bosnian because my boyfriend's mother wants to be able to speak to me over the phone and I may meet her this summer. Two to five lessons a week, it depends on how the lessons are. I need someone who is fluent in the language, and understands their culture and history.
