My wife is from Slovakia and she is teaching our daughter Slovak so I figure it time I learn. My proficiency level is beginner at best, I know the basics like how to order a beer and proper greetings. I'd like to start with conversation. I would like to dedicate about 5 hrs a week. I am hoping to teach English in Slovakia for a year post-graduati on, and I want to learn at least conversationa l Slovak before I go. I currently have a background in Russian and conversationa l Czech. I hope to have 1 hour lessons once or twice a week. I need a patient teacher with a sense of humor who is flexible in scheduling.
