My grandparents are from Slovenia and we still have many relatives living in Slovenia that we have just discovered. We are planning on visiting Slovenia within a few years, and I would like to learn the language basics. I need a teacher to work with me so I can hear the pronunciation , I have a hard time learning from books.

Hello, my husband and I are trying to learn Slovene. We have a lot of friends, and some family, in Maribor and would like to be able to communicate in Slovene with them. We try to visit Slovenia as often as we can, so speaking the language would come in handy. We are definitely beginners and need help with conversationa l basics. We would like to conference once a week. We will need a teacher who is patient and flexible with his schedule.

My mother is Slovenian and we travel back and forth regularly but I do not speak the language. I very much want to be involved in an accelerated program to not only learn the basics of the language but become somewhat conversationa l.
