I am looking for language study for both myself and my 2 junior-school age children. We have bought a holiday home in a village in rural Bulgaria, and I want to be able to communicate with my neighbours.
We are able to visit Bulgaria maybe 6 times a year, and I have picked up a very little of the language through my visits and study books, but I have come to the point where I can't progress without help - and I am finding it a little frustrating when I can't understand my neighbours!
I am also looking to help the children gain some basic language so they feel more at home when we visit. Both children are enthusiastic, but very nervous of learning the language, and have a little experience of learning French at school.
Pr imarily, then, we need conversation skills! I am willing to do some self-study, but I don't think the children will be very successful in this area. I would be intersted in either group lessons or individual tutoring (possibly backed up with on-line support). We live 30 miles west of London, and I work full-time so would be looking at evening or weekends, for tutoring. We could attend a short course sometime. I am looking for a tutor in the UK or Bulgaria.

I am a beginner in Bulgarian but hope to spend several months of the year there when I retire. I can travel to a class either to Stratford upon Avon or the other direction Cheltenham/Gl oucester.
I would prefer weekly lessons. I do not mind sharing my lessons with others, would the teacher prefer more than one pupil?
