I am planning the first of many trips outside the US in the next 12 months. I'm interested in learning and experiencing different cultures and areas.
Thr ough some mutual friends, I have a contact in Bucharest who has offered to serve as a guide/transla tor. I would like to reach a conversationa l level of speech prior to my trip.
I have never learned a second language, and I sometimes wonder if I have a great grasp on my own language. :)

Hello my name is Andrada and I'm Romanian but I grew up here in the USA. I have been learning Romanian on my own for a year now but I have not gotten that far. My other Romanian friends are too busey to teach me. I want to learn how to read it, speak it and write it because I'm Romanian and I want to learn it. It is important for me to learn Romanian. I am willing to start at the beginning to end to learn it and I am fully dedicated to learn Romanian. Please help me learn this language. I've been studying the romanian language for almost 3 years now, and have a very good grasp on the language, especially when reading.. Most of my learning has come from proper sources, like textbooks and newspapers. My knowledge of grammar far exceeds my ability to speak or understand regular Romanian speech.
