I am contacting you in behalf of my wife. She is a native Chinese citizen who now resides in the Philadelphia area with me. She is very eager to learn English so that she can better communicate with US citizens, myself and to enter the work-force when she receives her worker's card. She knows very little English (though she is learning some with casual conversation) . Learning English is her top priority right now and would like to start quickly and immerse herself in her studies. We would both like a patient teacher who is fluent in both Mandarin and English. Description as requested:
-I am looking for an one-on-one instructor for my 8 year old daughter. She is a native New Yorker and have had 6 months of Mandarin teaching by a college professor who recently moved away. She had lessons 2 times a week for about 2 hours each session. Her teacher was an ex-professor at Shanghai University, who was also patience and kind. My daughter is especially intellegent and is only a beginner. We are looking for a long term instructor who will also eventually teach my 5 year old son. I am a native Hong Kong born chinese but is no long fluent in the language but wish my children to learn the language properly. This is a life long commitment and long term commitment for me and my husband. Please respond if you are passionate about teaching. Best regards, Lee
