I'm an advanced beginner. I lived in Amsterdam for 5 years-10 years ago. I spoke pretty well while I lived there-but i've lost it.
I want to learn for pleasure only.
I just want to get my comfort level back up-and to learn some grammer.
I'd like a relaxed yet challenging teacher.
I have about 3 hours a week I could dedicate to learning. But i'm only looking to meet once a week.

I am a 30-year-old adult that would like to learn Dutch formally. I know some vocabulary words and conversationa l Dutch only at this juncture. My best friend is getting married in the Netherlands in April 2006, and it is very important for me that I understand what is going on in the ceremony since this is one of the most important days of her life.
I have experience with learning foreign languages, so I do not think that I would be too difficult as a student.
I have the desire to commit any amount of time necessary to learn Dutch. I visit the Netherlands at least once per year, and it is important to me personally to learn Dutch.
I would prefer that my teacher be a native Dutch speaker. I need someone to help me learn the proper Dutch pronunciation s. I need to see mouth movements and ask specific questions about where certain sounds originate in the mouth. I can not do this with video tapes and books.

I am a beginner and know only the very basics of Dutch. I have been around the language for extended amounts of time and often try to listen to Dutch music. While I am going to school I find it difficult to practice so I am looking for some kind of summer course to be able to take in the Netherlands. I am learning Dutch because one day I plan on living in the Netherlands and it is essential for me to know the language. I am willing to dedicate as much time as I need to in learning Dutch. I will practice all the tiem as long as I have short term goals set for me. I am looking for a very organized teacher who can encourage and guide me through learning this, what seems to be, ver difficult language.

I have never spoke Dutch before, and I want to learn because I want to live in Amsterdam in the future. I would like to learn how to speak fluently and I need to learn with in three months if possible. I can practice as much as necessary. Weekdays would be best. I want a teacher who can teach me the basics, test me and have conversations with me in Dutch. I will be in Miami in April to June.
