-Learning Chinese to fulfill a language requirement at UH Manoa. I am also half Chinese and would like to learn more about my culture. I really want to get an A in my classes!
-FU TURE GOALS: possibly go study abroad or visit China. I also plan to possibly run for Miss Chinatown or Ms.Narcissus.
-LEVEL: currently i will be starting 201 at UH Manoa
-HELP: i feel that i need help in all areas, mostly grammar and sentence structure. i want to be able to converse smoothly.
-TIME: depending on the cost and your availability will determine the amount of time i would meet with my tutor.
-I really need help with my homework. i kind of want to go with the lessons i am learning in school, and depending on how well i am doing, will determine my speed with you.

Hello, my name is Amanda Kaisar. I am traveling to Bangladesh in November of 2007. I'm staying for two months visiting my in-laws with my husband. I am definitely a beginner. I feel I understand greetings and simple words well right now. I know all my colors, and numbers up to ten. I really need to learn the nouns, and how to understand formed sentences and conversations . The accent of people talking to me really is hard to understand right now. I will understand one or two words but it isn't enough to know what they are saying. I have to, and want to become fluent in this language. I learn the most with another person like my husband saying and teaching me things. I would like to work on this at least twice a week. I am looking for someone who will talk to me and not just plop me down on the internet or a book.
